RIC VII Alexandria 21
Here is a rare legend for Licinius II that was used
after the 1st Civil War (A.D. 316) between
Constantine and Licinius, perhaps in an attempt by
Licinius to demonstrate peace and perhaps remind
Constantine that he was family by marriage and
Licinius II was his nephew. "The rapidly passing
employment of the name Constantinus for the younger
Licinius shows that the cordial relations between
the two Imperial Houses very soon cooled off." (RIC
VII pg 29)
